Using The Wubi Ubuntu Linux Installer To Install Ubuntu Linux On Windows
If you have an existing Windows system, and have high-speed Internet access, you can install Ubuntu Linux in less than an hour (including the download time).
Installing Ubuntu Linux is incredibly simple with the Wubi Ubuntu Linux Installer - just follow the steps below!
Ubuntu Linux Training Tips: Always back up your Windows system - twice - programs and data - before installing Ubuntu Linux on Windows- even when using the Wubi Ubuntu Installer to Install Ubuntu Linux.
To get more info on the Wubi Ubuntu Installer, go to:

Installing Ubuntu Linux On A Windows System with the Wubi Ubuntu Linux Installer
You can get more info on Wibi and also quickly and easily install Ubuntu (or Kubuntu, Edubuntu, and other Ubuntu variations), by
going to:
- just download the Wubi .exe file (1 MB) - just click on "Download Ubuntu Linux in Windows"
- and double-click on the .exe file to run it
- and put in a Username and Password (and you can change some settings, but you don't need to)
and install Ubuntu Linux directly into Windows!
Wubi System Requirements: 256 MB memory, 5 GB hard disk space, Windows 98, 2000, XP, or Vista
Ubuntu Linux Training Tips: Be sure to write your "Ubuntu in Windows" Username and Password down and keep it somewhere safe and secure. If you just put your Username and Password in a file on your windows system (and don't write it down), you won't have this info when you boot into Ubuntu and need to type it in!
When you reboot for the first time (only) after running the Wubi .exe file and select Ubuntu from the Windows boot loader menu, you will see lots of installation activity on the screen and your system will likely reboot again.
Just select Ubuntu again and you're running Ubuntu on your Windows system!
To run Ubuntu Linux, reboot your system and a screen will appear where you can select Windows or Ubuntu. Just highlight Ubuntu and press Enter!
