Getting Ubuntu Linux Technical Support from Help Pages - Ubuntu Linux Online Training
In addition to getting Ubuntu Linux technical support from Canonical (paid), and getting technical support from the Ubuntu Linux community (non-paid), you can also get technical support by:
1. Accessing the Help pages from the Ubuntu Linux desktop
2. From selecting Help within Ubuntu Linux application software programs
Ubuntu Linux Help Pages - from the Ubuntu Linux Desktop Help Icon
There is a Help icon in the top panel of the desktop that looks like a question mark and you can click on this icon to get help with Ubuntu Linux. You can also get help by clicking on the System menu and then selecting Help.
The Ubuntu Linux desktop help system gives you access to help on several categories of commonly asked technical support questions. And it also has links to the free technical support and commercial technical support (paid) pages described earlier.
Ubuntu Linux Help Pages - from the Help Menu In Ubuntu Linux Programs
In addition to the Ubuntu Linux help pages available from the desktop, you can also select Help from a menu when you were working in Linux application software programs, such as the Open Office Suite of programs (Writer, Calc, Impress, Draw and Base).
For example, to get help when using any of the Open Office Suite programs, just click on the Help menu and then select the type of help you want.
